TOWN BOARD SUMMARY

PRESENT
Supervisor William A. Carpenter and Councilpersons Sandra F. Zutes, John J. Higgins Jr., Karen W. Green and John E. Bernacki Jr. were present.
ATTENDANCE
There were no members of the public in attendance.
SUPERVISOR'S COMMENTS

Supervisor Carpenter indicated that the 2008 Summer Concert Series has been completed. He said that he felt that there was a nice mix of music this year, and that the concerts have been a wonderful activity for our residents.

Supervisor Carpenter said that the "Bee Movie", an outdoor movie that was offered for the first time last week, was a hit as approximately 300 people attended the showing. Supervisor Carpenter said that the Town is looking into providing a series of two or three movies again next year due to the interest expressed by residents.

Supervisor Carpenter gave an update on the highway roadwork projects in town and complimented the great work that is being done.

Supervisor Carpenter said that a consensus was reached regarding the installation of sidewalks on Sunset Blvd and that informational letters will go out to residents next week.
PUBLIC HEARING SET: PROPOSED PITTSFORD SEWER DISTRICT EXTENSION SWBC #44 - LANDS OF 18 STONEY CLOVER LANE
The Town Board set a public hearing date of September 16 2008 to hear public comments regarding the proposed sewer district extension SWBC-44, Lands of 18 Stoney Clover Lane.
PUBLIC HEARING SET: PROPOSED PITTSFORD SEWER DISTRICT EXTENSION PSD #77 - LANDS OF 3 EDYTH STREET
The Town Board set a public hearing date of September 16 2008 to hear public comments regarding the proposed sewer district extension PSD #44, Lands of 3 Edyth Street.
BID OPENING DATE SET: CANDLEWOOD PUMPT STATION PUMPS AND CONTROLLERS
The Town Board set a bid opening date of September 9 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the Department of Public Works for the Candlewood Pump Station pumps and controllers. Bid specifications are available in the office of Office of MRB Group Engineering, Architecture, and Surveying, P.C., 2480 Browncroft Boulevard, Rochester, New York 14625 after August 27, 2008 with payment of a $50.00 deposit for each set.

BUDGET WORKSHOP
Supervisor Carpenter discussed the 2009 Budget Schedule.
The Town Board then discussed the Technology Equipment Capital Replacement Schedule, the Office Equipment Capital Replacement Schedule, and the Fleet Capital Replacement Schedule.
The next Town Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in the basement meeting room at Town Hall, 11 South Main Street, and will begin at 7:00 P.M. local time.
